So after using the booth at two events so far I’ve learned a few things about the first go at the design.

1. It could be tipped over if someone pulled on the curtain hard enough.
2. It needs to be able to be totally locked up if I have to leave it alone.
3. Way too big as it is right now for transportation just barely fits in the parents mini van, too wide I think.
4. setup is kinda a pain since i have to take wires out and move them around.
5. Need to integrate a folding table into it to set the laptop on as well as to set out any brochures and whatnot.
6. While green boat carpet is really fun for some events, it wouldn’t go over so well at a formal wedding.

So, the new one will be a sitdown version I think. That will hopefully be able to fold up into a box around the size of 5′6″ x 3″ x 2′6″ when everything is locked down on it.
I did some playing around in Google SketchUp and came up with a rough design I think…This will also have a curtain in the space near the bench.

The second one should go a lot better than the first one which was basically built in about a day, since I have to have it up and running pretty quickly.
